In cooperation with the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Department in Dubai, Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage organized a cultural and social symposium entitled “costs of marriage in UAE” on Saturday 17/5/2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p. m. at the hall of the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Department in Dubai – Al mamzar.

, including many aspects starting from the judicial aspect delivered by Dr. Abdullah Al Kamali, followed by the economical aspect, since Dr. Abdeen Al Ewady discussed the role of the collective marriage in reducing the costs of marriage, then the questions and discussion started and continued till 12:30 p.m.

    After the break they discussed the legal aspect and mentioned some of the cases with Eissa bin Haider, and then the social aspect with Wedad Lotah that she discussed the negative effects of the high cost marriage, the symposium was concluded with the psychological aspect with Ahmed al Sheeba and replying the questions of the audience.

The morning session was directed by “ Yosef Al Humady” while the evening one directed by Adel Hussain”.
