A delegation from the center consisted of : Mrs. Ibtisam Al- Haddad, head of the Acquisition Department, Mr. Amar Haj Ali, Media Section In charge, Mr. Ahmed Othman, Electronic Archive in charge, Mr. Ahmed Al-Zayood, the responsible of Gift & Exchange Unit, Mrs. Shereen Talib and Mr. Noshad from Multi Media Section, visited Dubai Media Incorporated on 12/8/2008 in order to be well informed about their experience in the cultural and informative field, and multi media documentation.
The delegation accompanied by Mr. Saeed ,from the public relations, at Dubai Media Incorporated toured throughout many departments such as digital library which contains a big quantity of taps and records, Mr. Saeed explained the achieve processing in the institution and the ways used to get the required taps.
The delegation visited the satellite broadcasting room in which they saw the process of broadcasting and modern techniques, they also visited the montage’s rooms and the studio of the institution which is considered the biggest one in the Middle East.
After that the delegation met Mr. Bassam Halimah , the head of programs, in the Dubai Media Incorporated, through the meeting they discussed ways of informative and cultural cooperation between the center and the institution especially exchanging cultural and scientific materials between the both sides.
Dubai Media Incorporated is the institution which is supervising on four T.V. channels which are : Dubai TV, Sama Dubai, Dubai One and Dubai Sports with its multi channels which is semi governmental institution headed by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai deputy ruler.
