 A delegation from International University of Africa visits the Center

On June 5, 2018, Juma Al Majid, President of Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage, received a delegation from International University of Africa, headed by Dr. Kamal Mohammed, the University's Director, and the presence of Abi Baker Mohammed Al-Nour Ibrahim, Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Sudan, Dean of the College of Technology of Production and Agricultural Processing, Mr. Osama Mergani Rashid, Assistant Director of Administrative Coordination and Follow-up, and Mr. Hamdan Hamed, Cultural Counselor of Al Maktoum Charity Organization.

 The aim of the visit was to identify the Center and discuss the prospects for cooperation between it and the university. During the meeting, Dr. Kamel revealed the projects of the university, such as the collection of manuscripts from a number of African countries, and the university's interest in teaching Arabic through the Arabic Language Institute, which is one of the strongest institutes in teaching Arabic language in the region. Juma Al Majid spoke about the role of the Center and its projects in Africa, the most important of which is the preservation of manuscripts in the Republic of Mali.
