On the occasion of the Arab Day for Libraries, which falls on the tenth of March of each year, and to coincide with the month of reading, which the UAE considers a national month for reading, the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai organized, on Thursday, March 10, 2022 AD, a virtual lecture entitled “The History of Librarianship Professions” presented by Sheikha Abdullah Al-Mutairi, Head of the Department of National Culture, Public Relations and Media.
By celebrating this day, the Center aims to spread awareness and knowledge of the importance of books and libraries, which play a major role in preserving the memory and cultural identity of the rising generation.
