A delegation from the Dubai Media Academy visited the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The visit aimed to explore the Center’s services and activities and discuss potential avenues for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The delegation included Ms. Khadija Al-Yousef, Content Development Officer; Ms. Warda Hussein, from the Office of the Academy Director; and Mr. Abdel Moneim Al-Khider, Business Development Coordinator. The guests were received by Dr. Mohamed Kamel Gad, Director General of the Center, and Mr. Anwar Al-Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division.
During the meeting, Ms. Khadija Al-Yousef, who headed the delegation, presented the Academy’s vision and initiatives. Recently established under the umbrella of Dubai Media Incorporated, the Academy offers training courses, workshops, and competitions, and partners with leading media organizations. She also proposed a joint collaboration initiative between the Academy and the Center.
Dr. Mohamed Kamel Gad welcomed the delegation and expressed the Center’s readiness to provide full support and cooperation in the areas of training and development, as well as access to the Center’s extensive resources to support the Academy’s research and documentation efforts.
The visit included a guided tour of several departments within the Center, including the “Legacy of Giving” exhibition, the Beneficiaries Hall, the Private Libraries section, and the Digital Lab, where the delegation observed the process of digitizing printed books.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation members expressed their admiration for the Center’s pioneering role in preserving human heritage, supporting researchers, and organizing various cultural initiatives that serve the community.
