A cultural delegation from the Sultanate of Oman visited the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage, which included His Excellency the former Ambassador, Sheikh Hilal bin Salem bin Hamoud Al Siyabi, and Professor Sanad bin Hamad Al Mahrezi.
The delegation was received by Ms. Sheikha Abdullah Al-Mutairi, Head of the National Culture and Public Relations and Media Departments, and Mr. Anwar Al-Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division at the Center, where many cultural issues were discussed, including the Center’s relationship with Omani cultural institutions.
Then the delegation toured the departments of the center, starting with the exhibition of the Journey of Giving, which includes many photos documenting the march of the center over thirty years, and the reading hall, in which the delegation was briefed on the services provided by the center to scholars and researchers from inside and outside the country, and concluded the visit in the private libraries section, where In it, the delegation was briefed on rare books and the libraries of many scientific and cultural personalities, which the center keeps, and names them after the names of their owners in loyalty and appreciation to them.
