A delegation from the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy visited Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, with the aim of reviewing the center’s efforts in preserving heritage, and discussing ways of cooperation in common fields. The delegation included His Excellency Ali Obaid Al Hafeti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy. for Fine Arts, and Ms. Sheikha Al-Shara, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Executive Assistant at the Academy, and Ms. Anjoud Al-Zahmi, Media Coordinator at the Academy, and they were received by Ms. Sheikha Al-Mutairi, Head of the Departments of National Culture and Public Relations and Media at the Center, and Mr. Anwar Al-Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division .
The visit began with the Giving March exhibition, which includes a number of original manuscripts, and pictures documenting scientific visits and agreements concluded by the Center with international cultural institutions. Then the delegation visited the Private Libraries Department and was briefed on the digital conversion processes for all books and documents in the digital laboratory. The visit was concluded in the Manuscripts Department. Where the delegation saw some holdings of the original Qurans and manuscripts.
