A delegation from the Italian University of Bologna visits the Juma Al Majid Center

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage received a delegation from the University of Bologna in Italy, which included Professor Alberto Meloni, Professor and Chair of UNESCO Chair for Religious Pluralism and Peace at the University of Bologna, and Professor Susanna Mancini, Professor of Comparative Public Law at the Department of Legal Studies at the University of Bologna, and Dr. Ricardo Amerigo, Doctor of Digital Humanities at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

This visit comes with the aim of getting to know the Juma Al Majid Center and getting acquainted with the services it provides to researchers and scholars, in addition to discussing ways of cooperation between the Center and the University of Bologna in various fields. With books specialized in Islamic history, facilitating the task of university students and researchers to benefit from the center’s library holdings, and the possibility of providing the university with restoration equipment in order to maintain and preserve its manuscripts.
