A delegation from the Kuwaiti Consulate in Dubai visits the center

Dr. Meshari Al-Hajri, Counselor and Head of the Cultural Office at the Kuwaiti Consulate in Dubai, and Hisham Al-Nabati, Academic Advisor at the Consulate, visited the Juma Al-Majid Center for Culture and Heritage on February 14, 2023, with the aim of getting acquainted with the center’s departments and discussing ways to enhance cooperation in common cultural fields.
During the meeting, Dr. Mashari Al-Hajri spoke about the prominent role played by the Center in preserving the heritage and making its books and manuscripts available to researchers and scholars. He praised Mr. Juma Al-Majed, the founder of the Center, for his effort and money to serve the students of science. Then the delegation visited the Private Libraries Department, and was briefed He visited the valuable private libraries in the center’s library. He also visited the digital laboratory, and was briefed on the mechanism of converting paper books and manuscripts into digital containers.
At the end of the visit, the Kuwaiti delegation thanked the management of the center for the warm reception and the valuable information it listened to, which gave a clear picture of the pioneering role played by the center.
