A delegation from the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate in Saudi Arabia reviews the center’s experience in preserving heritage

A delegation from the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai. The delegation included Hatem Al-Enezi and Nour Al-Huda Al-Sakhni, restoration specialists at the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate.
The visit aims to benefit from the center’s experience in preserving, restoring and maintaining manuscripts and documents, as the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate intends to establish a center specialized in restoring manuscripts.
The delegation was received by Dr. Muhammad Kamel Jad, Director General of the Center, and Mr. Anwar Al Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division of the Centre, who accompanied them on an extensive tour of the Centre’s departments.
Then the delegation went to the Department of Conservation, Treatment and Restoration in Al Qusais district in Dubai, where they listened to a detailed explanation by the Director of the Department, Dr. Bassam Dagestani, about the conservation, maintenance and restoration operations carried out by the Center.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Center for its warm reception and the great efforts it exerts in preserving heritage.
