Cairo International Book Fair 2026

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage participated in the 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo from 21 January to 3 February 2026. The Center showcased a distinguished selection of its specialized scholarly and heritage publications through a dedicated exhibition stand.
This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to direct engagement with researchers, postgraduate students, and academics in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as its ongoing efforts to highlight its pioneering role in manuscript preservation and the conservation of rare scholarly sources and references. The Center’s stand attracted significant interest from fair visitors, including intellectuals, university students, and cultural and heritage enthusiasts from across the Arab world.
During the exhibition, the Center presented a range of its recent publications covering history, heritage, literature, and civilizational studies. Notable titles included Andalusian Coins as a Source for the Political and Economic History of Al-Andalus, The Poetry of Taqi Al-Din Shabib ibn Hamdan Al-Harrani, the Physician, Epistles of Longing and Yearning for the Pilgrimage to the Sacred House of God, and Auctions in Egypt and the Levant from the Establishment of the Fatimid State to the fall of the Mamluk Sultanate, in addition to several other specialized academic works.
