Dubai Culture and Arts Authority signs a cooperation agreement with Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture” has signed a cultural cooperation agreement with Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage, with the aim of completing efforts to document and benefit from heritage, and to promote the literary sector and consolidate the size of its presence, as it is one of the promising creative fields in the Emirate of Dubai.
The agreement contributes to strengthening cooperation between the two parties jointly in the literary sector, specifically the revival of relevant international events and days, such as: Arab Library Day, Arabic Manuscripts Day, Arabic Poetry Day, and Emirati Women’s Day. The agreement also includes the establishment and organization of practical and scientific workshops, especially in Literary fields, such as: classification and cataloging science, criticism, creative writing, and what is related to the science of manuscripts and documentation.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Executive Director of the Arts and Literature Sector in Dubai for Culture, and Dr. Muhammad Kamel Jad, Director General of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai.
According to the agreement, efforts will be coordinated and mechanisms for joint work will be established between them, including the use of halls and facilities for both parties, the exchange of books, periodicals and other publications, the formation of committees to coordinate joint work mechanisms, and the exchange of audio-visual materials related to Emirati heritage.
