Sheikha Al-Mutairi, Head of the National Culture and Public Relations & Media Departments at the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, presented a lecture On Wednesday, September 10, to students of Dar Al Ma’arifa Private School under the title “Manuscripts of the Prophet’s Biography and Praises”
The lecture introduced students to the world of manuscripts, highlighting both their intellectual and scientific value as well as their external features such as paper, ink, and bindings. Al-Mutairi also explained the concepts of the Prophetic biography (Sīrah Nabawiyyah) and religious praises, showcasing selected examples of both Eastern and Western Islamic manuscripts in this field.
The students showed remarkable engagement with the presented information and examples, which enriched their knowledge and deepened their connection to manuscript heritage.
At the conclusion of the event, the school administration honored Sheikha Al-Mutairi with a certificate of appreciation.
