Believing in the role of Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in promoting the culture of reading among school students, and in implementation of the Cabinet decision that designated March as a national month for reading each year, the Center has launched an initiative that requires the distribution of school libraries to a number of state schools in different emirates in stages. several .
Through this initiative, the Center aims to develop the holdings of state school libraries with a variety of books that enhance the culture of reading among students, and contribute to building an educated reader community armed with science and knowledge, capable of leading the development process in the country. The center has concluded the first phase of the initiative, and distributed 3000 books to 15 schools.
