Juma Al Majid Center highlights its new publications “intellectual tributaries in Nabataean poetry in the UAE”

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and heritage in Dubai,on the sidelines of the Sharjah International Book Fair, presented a discussion session on its new publication at the Sharjah International Book Fair, the book “intellectual tributaries in Nabataean poetry in the UAE” .
The author of the book, Mr. Fahad Ali Al-Mamari, and Ms. Sheikha Abdullah Al-Mutairi, who moderated the session by asking the author many questions about the book, participated in the dialogue session held at the cultural forum “2” of the exhibition .
Speaking at the session, Al-Mamari said:”the idea of the book lies in the fact that Nabataean poets in the UAE drew their ideas from multiple tributaries that were specific to them in their poems, including: religion, history, geography, astronomy, wind, sea, desert, mountains and other intellectual tributaries made by the Emirati Nabataean poet in front of his eyes and derived the themes and meanings of his poems from them”.
The session witnessed an interaction by the audience present, during which they asked the author many questions on the topic of the book.
At the end of the dialogue session, Mr. Fahad Al-Mamari signed several copies of his book for the audience who attended the event.
