Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai concluded a training course in preserving, processing and restoring manuscripts and documents, which began on June 14, and lasted 3 weeks, and was supervised by Dr. Bassam Daghestani, Head of the Preservation and Restoration Department at the Centre, and it was attended by participants hosted by the Center from the Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority.
Through this course, the center aims to enhance joint cooperation between the center and the Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority, by training a number of the authority’s employees on the preservation, processing and restoration of documents and manuscripts.
