Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai concluded the second day of a virtual workshop on the electronic platform entitled “Management and Archiving of Photographs”, which was held On Sunday, February 7, 2021 over two consecutive days, presented by Mr. Ahmed Obaid, a consultant and administrator of documents and archiving at the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, It was attended by a large number of those interested in the field of photo archiving.
The workshop aimed to introduce the participants to the process of archiving and reading photographs as a professional artistic process, and to identify the foundations, rules and tools for this process, in addition to assisting everyone who deals with photographs in organizing and managing their holdings of photographs, whether they are personal or institutional photographs.
