Juma Al Majid Center Participates in the Knowledge Dialogue Seminar

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai participated in the “Knowledge Dialogue” seminar organized by the Dubai Health Authority as part of the activities during the Reading Month. The seminar was attended by His Excellency Awadh Al Ketbi, the Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, and several officials from the medical sector in Dubai.
The seminar featured the participation of His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, the Cultural Advisor to the Dubai Government and the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Knowledge. He discussed the history of Dubai and the role that the emirate’s leaders played in its development and progress. He also praised the institutions and centers in the country that have focused on documenting the history of the UAE by preserving a significant number of documents related to the region.
The center’s participation included a presentation of a collection of manuscripts related to the Arabic language and literature, such as explanations of Lamiyat Al-Shanfara, explanations of Ibn Malik’s Alfiya, interpretations of Buraq Al-Bushiri, and Al-Maqamat Al-Zubaidiyya (from Al-Hamadhani’s Maqamat). The presentation also featured the book “Rawdat Al-Akhyaar Al-Muntakhab Min Rabi’ Al-Abrar” and “Nazm Al-Washaah Ala Shawaahid Tahlil Al-Miftaah.”
