Juma Al Majid Center participates in the Qatar University Book Fair

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai participated in the events of the Qatar University Book Fair, organized by Qatar University Publishing House, in collaboration with the Qatari Ministry of Culture at its headquarters in Doha, from January 28th to February 1st. This participation comes in response to an invitation received by the center from Qatar University Publishing House, serving as a great opportunity for the center to meet its audience in Qatar, including researchers and graduate students from universities. Additionally, this participation contributes to introducing the center and its distinguished publications, as well as its role in preserving manuscripts and providing rare sources and references. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Maryam Al-Maadeed, Vice President of Qatar University for Research and Graduate Studies, who stated: “Organizing this exhibition is an important part of the university’s vision, mission, and goals, as the event is organized by both the Ministry of Culture and Qatar University to support education and spread culture through all available means.” This edition witnesses the participation of 29 publishing houses and Qatari centers, including: the Ministry of Awqaf, the Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding, the Qatar National Archives, Katara Publishing House, Rosa Publishing House, Nabjah Publishing House, in addition to participation from universities, research centers, and Arab publishing houses from Morocco, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman.
