Juma Al Majid Center participates in the Ramadan exhibition “Words from the East”

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage concluded its participation in the “Words from the East” exhibition, which was organized by the Sharjah Book Authority from April 27 to May 3. The exhibition was attended from those interested in collectibles, especially manuscripts.

The Center’s participation display a unique collection of the Center’s original manuscripts, which are hundreds of years old, such as: Muwatta’ of Imam Malik, the date of its copying in 467 AH, the Diwan of Al-Mutanabi, the date of its copying back to the 12th century AH, the abbreviation of prevention, and the date of its copying back to the century 12 AH, the Guidance of Grammar, and its copy dates back to the 13th century AH, and the wisdom of Al-Ain, which dates back to the 12th century AH, and Bidl’s Diwan, in Persian, and its copy dates back to 1212 AH, in addition to a number of manuscript copies of the Qur’an decorated and framed with gold water, and a collection of It contains three written letters that date back to the year 1261 AH.
