The center participated in the Fifth Used Book Charity Exhibition, which was held from March 9 to 10, 2022 AD, and was organized by the Libraries Department of the Deanship of Academic Support Services at the University of Sharjah, and it was inaugurated by Dr. Hussein Al Mahdi, Dean of Academic Support Services, and Professor Nadia Masoud, Director of the Library Department at the University, And Mr. Anwar Al Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division of the Centre.
The center’s participation was represented by a manuscript exhibition that included many literary and scientific manuscripts, in addition to presenting examples of methods of restoring and maintaining manuscripts. The center aims through this participation, which coincides with the month of reading, to increase interest in scientific research, stimulate reading, and highlight the role of the center. in preserving human heritage.
At the end of the exhibition, Dr. Hussein Al-Mahdi presented the university’s shield to the center in appreciation of the center’s role in supporting the university’s activities. The shield was received by Professor Anwar Al-Dhaheri, head of the Public Relations Division at the center.
