The center’s participation was represented in an exhibition of manuscripts that included thirty paintings that covered many topics, including a painting drawn in a beautiful artistic way in which the beautiful names of God and the attributes of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, are written, in addition to other manuscripts in various sciences and arts such as poetry, grammar, astronomy, engineering, medicine, pharmacy and genealogy, with a copy A line from the Holy Qur’an dating back to the year 1312 AH.
The center also displayed samples of manuscript papers that were damaged due to biological infections such as insects, rodents and bacteria, or natural injuries such as fires, floods and poor storage, then the center maintains and restores them.
Abdullah Ali Bu Osaiba, Director of the Umm Al Quwain Creative Center, said: “This forum coincides with the launch of the Month of Reading to shed light on the historical and archaeological value of our Arab heritage, and highlight the importance of preserving and restoring this heritage and transmitting it safely to future generations.”
