Juma Al Majid Center presents a discussion session on the Islamic Andalusian influences on Christian manuscripts during the reign of Alfonso

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai organized a virtual discussion session on its new publications book (The Andalusian Islamic Influences on Christian Manuscripts during the Reign of Alfonso, nicknamed the Scientist), presented by the book’s author, Dr. Tariq Muhammad Al-Behairi, Antiquities Inspector In the Department of Egyptian and Islamic History and Antiquities of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt.
In the discussion session, Dr. Tarek dealt with many topics, including: Andalusian influences on the depictions of Christian manuscripts during the reign of Alfonso through the presentation of some manuscripts in literature, and he said: “Despite the numerous writings on the impact of the Andalusian Islamic civilization on European arts and architecture, Which now occupies the attention of many Spanish and Arab researchers, the Andalusian influences on Spain in that period found limited interest by researchers, as most of the research issued in Arabic on those influences is nothing more than a general presentation of translation works that aim to introduce them.
