Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai organized a virtual lecture entitled “Developing Institutional Performance and a Culture of Excellence”, presented by Dr. Tariq Rashid, an international trainer and consultant accredited by the United Nations, and attended by a large number of interested people.
In his lecture, Dr. Tariq touched on several axes, including: introducing the institutions that achieve the highest levels of performance in light of the new government excellence system for the state GEM2, the foundations of institutional excellence in the era of challenges and change, performance management systems, performance indicators and the importance of evaluation, capacity building for human resources and focus On investing in professional talent, the importance of digitization and the digital transformation of services. The lecturer considered the Emirate of Dubai as an example of developing institutional performance through the decision taken by its government to establish the Dubai Digital Authority, which makes Dubai a global digital capital in the future, and contributes to providing more happiness, well-being and a better life for its people and residents.
