Juma Al Majid Center presents a lecture on the apocryphal works of Ibn al-Jawzi

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai held a specialized scientific lecture entitled “Apocryphal Works by Ibn al-Jawzi,” presented by Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Anis, senior researcher and member of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, and it was attended by a number of researchers. Those interested in scientific research, investigation and Islamic culture.
In his lecture, Al-Anis addressed many topics, including: the reasons for authorizing books by some scholars, the means that help in knowing the books attributed to people other than their authors, introducing Ibn al-Jawzi and his encyclopedic authorship and the large number of his books, and finally mentioning the titles of the books that were attributed to Ibn al-Jawzi but not his, and they increased in number until they exceeded ( 120) titles.
At the end of the lecture, many questions and inquiries were posed to the lecturer by the audience, who answered them all. In conclusion, the Center thanked Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Anis for the effort he made in preparing for the lecture and his interesting presentation of it. Dr. Muhammad Kamel Gad, Director General of the Center, also honored him. With a certificate of thanks and appreciation.
