The activities of the Modern Document and Archive Management course commenced on Monday, March 13, 2023. The course is organized by Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage at its headquarters in Dubai and will run for five days, from March 13 to 17. It involves the participation of 35 individuals from various government and private institutions.
The course aims to simplify and clarify the terminology and concepts of document and archive management, as well as explain the procedures and elements of building document and archive management software. This is especially relevant in light of the developments in artificial intelligence, metaverse applications, and blockchain. The course also highlights the international standards and specifications for document management in both traditional and electronic environments.
