On the occasion of Arabic Manuscript Day Juma Al Majid Center presents a virtual lecture on the achievement of Arab heritage

In celebration of the Arabic Manuscript Day, which falls on the fourth of April of each year, the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, in cooperation with the University of Sharjah, organized on Saturday, April 3, 2021 AD, a virtual lecture entitled “Achieving Arab Heritage: Issues and Problems”, presented by Prof. Dr. Salah Jarrar, Professor of Andalusian and Moroccan literature at the University of Sharjah. The lecture witnessed a great turnout, as it was attended by a large number of those interested in the field of Arab heritage.
The lecture dealt with a number of basic issues that revolve around the realization of the Arab manuscript heritage. During which the Arab contribution to human civilization. The publication of these manuscripts provides evidence of the greatness of the Arabic language and its ability to absorb and express all sciences. Moreover, this heritage enhances the cultural identity of the nation. Because heritage and language are among the most important components of national identities.
