Sharjah International Book Fair

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai participated in the Sharjah International Book Fair, held from 5 to 16 November 2025, showcasing a selection of new publications that enrich the cultural landscape and reflect the Center’s ongoing efforts to preserve and promote Arab and Islamic heritage.
At its pavilion this year, the Center displayed several distinguished works, including “ʿAyn al-Murābiṭ li-Istiqṣāʾ Fawāʾid Riḥlat Ibn al-Ḍābiṭ,” “The Jurisprudential and Doctrinal Movement in the Islamic West,” “The Movement of Qur’anic Exegesis in the Far Maghreb During the Saadian Era,” as well as “The Poetry of Taqi al-Din Shabib ibn Hamdan al-Harrani, the Physician,” “Al-Ḥirāj in Egypt and the Levant from the Rise of the Fatimid State to the Fall of the Mamluk State,” and “Letters of Longing for the Pilgrimage to the Sacred House.”
The Center’s participation also aimed to strengthen engagement with publishing houses and cultural institutions present at the fair, acquire the latest releases brought together from around the world, and pay particular attention to newly edited heritage works being published for the first time.
