The Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage participated in the Sharjah International Book Fair, held from November 6 to 17, 2024, at the Sharjah Expo Center. The center’s participation aimed to highlight its distinguished publications covering various fields, including literature, language, heritage, history, and more.
This year, the center showcased 76 books, including four new releases for 2024:
1.“Wujuh Al-Qur’an: Explanation of the Multiple Meanings of Quranic Words through Interpretation” by the renowned scholar and physician Abu Al-Fadl Kamal Al-Din Hubaysh bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Tiflisi Al-Farisi, edited by Dr. Taha Muhammad Faris.
2.“Banu Sama Between Oman and Multan: A Historical Study in Light of Islamic Coinage (3rd–4th Century AH / 9th–10th Century AD)” by Muhammad Hassan Al-Basha.
3.“Tuhfat Al-Areeb wa Nuzhat Al-Labeeb” by Abu Madyan Al-Fasi Muhammad, edited by Obeidi Muhammad Bou Abdullah.
4.“The Plant Environment in the Society of Medina During the Prophetic and Rashidun Eras” by Dr. Naktel Youssef.
Additionally, the center distributed copies of its quarterly journal, “Afaq Al-Thaqafa wa Al-Turath” (Horizons of Culture and Heritage). The center’s pavilion attracted a large number of visitors, reflecting the importance and diversity of its offerings.
