The Institute of Advanced Studies and Cooperation in Rome honors Juma Al Majid

Professor Gabriele Andreoli, President of the Institute of Advanced Studies and Cooperation in Rome, honored His Excellency Juma Al Majid, Chairman of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, for his pioneering role in serving global culture and heritage. This took place during the opening of the Global Technology Summit, organized by the London Center for Cultural Exchange on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Habtoor Resort in Dubai under the theme “Exploring New Frontiers for Modern Technology in Innovation and Culture.”

Attending the conference were Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sheikh Hamid bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Dr. Abdullah Al Sehati, Honorary President of the London Center for Cultural Exchange, Jamal bin Huwairb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, and a gathering of leading international figures in culture and science.

The honorary shield was received on behalf of His Excellency Juma Al Majid by Dr. Mohamed Kamil Jad, Director-General of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, who conveyed Juma Al Majid’s gratitude to the Italian Institute President and Dr. Abdullah Al Sehati, the conference’s president.

The conference discussed several topics in its sessions, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, ethical considerations in artificial intelligence development, AI-based applications in various industries, biotechnology and genomics, augmented and virtual reality, global cooperation for sustainable development, and partnerships between cultures in technological research.

At the end of the conference, Dr. Mohamed Kamil Jad, the center’s director-general, honored Dr. Engineer Abdullah Ali Al Sehati, the honorary president of the London Center for Cultural Exchange and the conference’s patron, with a commemorative shield for his efforts in supporting the principles of cultural tolerance and cooperation between scientific and cultural institutions in the Arab and Western worlds through his center established in Britain. In return, Dr. Al Sehati honored the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai for its efforts in preserving global heritage.
