The Ninth International Arab Impact Factor Conference Honors Juma Al Majid Center

His Excellency Professor Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, honored the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage with the award for high-impact Arab institutions in the service of Arab heritage. This recognition was part of the opening ceremony of the Ninth International Arab Impact Factor Conference, hosted by Abu Dhabi University from May 2 to 5, 2024. The award ceremony was attended by Professor Mahmoud Abdel-Aty, Chairman of the Arab Impact Factor Project, Professor Ghassan Aouad, Director of Abu Dhabi University, and several university presidents and Arab participants.

Dr. Mohamed Kamel Gad, Director General of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, received the award on behalf of His Excellency Juma Al Majid. He thanked the conference chairman and organizers for the honor.

The Ninth International Arab Impact Factor Conference this year is held under the theme “Scientific Publishing and the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence.” It features a selection of Arab academics, discussing topics such as journal classification standards, paper and web metrics, international rankings of universities and academic institutions, Arab citation indexes, artificial intelligence in scientific publishing, pioneering initiatives in Arab scientific publishing, policies and regulations of electronic publishing, intellectual and cultural security in scientific publishing, scientific publishing in Arabic in non-Arabic speaking countries, experiences of scientific publishing centers in Arab universities, Arab scientific journals and the promotion of citizenship and identity values, smart applications and their role in developing scientific publishing, artificial intelligence applications in enhancing the quality of institutional and research production, challenges of “Chat GPT” in scientific publishing, scientific journals, and citation and plagiarism in scientific research.
