Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai welcomed a delegation of winners from the 24th edition of the Sharjah Award for Library Literature, organized by the Sharjah Public Libraries Department of the Sharjah Book Authority. The delegation included the winners in the “Best Research” category: Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Hadi, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Alexandria University, who won first place; Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Karthiou, who secured second place; and Dr. Ihdia Salah Naji, Assistant Professor of Library Science at Cairo University, who came in third.
The delegation was received by Dr. Mohammed Kamel Gad, the center’s Director General; Sheikha Abdullah Al-Mutairi, Head of the National Culture and Public Relations Departments; Riyad Taher, Head of the Technical Processing Department; and Anwar Al-Zaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division.
Dr. Gad warmly welcomed the guests and discussed the center’s role in preserving human heritage. The delegation then toured the center, starting with the “Path of Giving” exhibition and concluding with the Manuscripts Department.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception. The center also presented the guests with books from its own publications.
