With the participation of four Gulf museums Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage organizes a virtual symposium entitled “The Role of Museums in Preserving Human Heritage”

Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage organized a virtual seminar on the electronic platform entitled “The Role of Museums in Preserving Human Heritage: Efforts and Initiatives” on January 28, 2021 . The symposium was attended by Dr. Sultan Al-Dawish, Director of the Department of Museums and Antiquities in Kuwait, and from Saudi Arabia, Professor Fouad Dhaif Allah Al-Maghamsi, researcher at the Center for Studies and Research in Madinah and supervisor of documents and manuscripts, and Professor Fahd Al-Hasani, curator of Bait Al-Zubair Museum in the Sultanate of Oman, and from UAE Mr. Nasser Al Darmaki, Director of the Department of Museum Planning and Strategies at the Sharjah Museums Authority.
The symposium aimed to shed light on the main role of museums through their collection, preservation, display and preservation of cultural, historical, human and natural heritage throughout the various historical eras.
