A delegation from the Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religious Tolerance in Spain visits Juma Al Majid Center

A delegation from the Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religious Tolerance in Spain, headed by Mr. Juma Al Kaabi, Director of the Foundation, visited the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, with the aim of learning about the services and activities offered by the center, and the relics it contains.
The delegation included a number of Spanish university professors, intellectuals, and academics. They were received by Dr. Mohamed Kamel Gad, Director General of the Center, and Anwar Al Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division at the Centre.
The visit began with a presentation of an introductory film about the center and its holdings, then a tour of the center’s sections included private libraries in which the delegation viewed a number of publications, including a copy of the Bible that was printed in Beirut in 1887 AD. The visit concluded with the Manuscripts Section, where the delegation saw a number of origins dating back hundreds of years, as well as the treasury of global catalogs.
During the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Kamel spoke to the delegation about the center, its origins, goals and activities around the world, as well as the message of His Excellency Juma Al Majid, founder of the center, in which he says: “I am responsible for saving any manuscript or book, anywhere, in any language and in Which religion”, he also expressed the center’s readiness to build bridges of cultural cooperation with universities in Spain.
