Juma AlMajid Center for Culture and Heritage has established an Electronic Archiving course for government employees in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Information in Sharjah. Some of the objectives ofthe session-which was provided by theelectronic archiving expert in thecenter andthe head ofthe digital labMr. AhmedOsman Ahmed-was to enrichparticipants with the conceptsof modernmanagementandelectronic archiving, and equip them withthe ability to dealwithmodern applicationsfor electronic archiving, as well asdevelopthe skills ofthe participantsin the field ofdocumentation, preservation and electronic archiving.
