His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, handed an honorary doctorate from the University of Sharjah to His Excellency Juma Al Majid, President of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage.
Honoring His Excellency Juma Al Majid comes by granting him an honorary doctorate degree based on the decision of the Board of Trustees of the University of Sharjah in its meeting No. 53 for the year 2021-2022 AD, and based on the university regulations to grant this degree to public figures with great roles in community service.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi had presented His Excellency Juma Al Majid with an honorary doctorate at his home.
In his speech on this occasion, Al-Majed gave his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, for his great interest in science and education, and his generous sponsorship of many universities, schools and scientific institutions inside and outside the country, out of his belief in the role of science in the prosperity of nations and peoples.
